Concept-critique prompting is the discipline of directing a Design Critique Agent. It helps a designer expand the solution space while preserving taste, ethics, originality, and strategic fit while keeping the final judgment traceable and human-owned.

Apply this skill before the Stage 04 gate is approved. The accountable designer must be able to explain how it changed the work, what evidence was considered, and why the result is safe to advance.
Common failure patterns
- Mistaking volume and familiarity for originality, strategic fit, or emotional resonance.
- Accepting fluent or high-confidence output without testing its evidence, assumptions, exclusions, and downstream effects.
